SOLVE CHARITY

I was lucky enough to meet Sherrill, founder of Solve Charity at an event in Deal last year. I have been looking for a small mental health charity to support to reflect my journey of depression and anxiety.

SOLVE Charity helps to fund those people with severe mental health problems who have been referred back to their GP and who are on benefits or a low income, initially through support groups and once they have raised enough money through private therapy, advocacy and much more.

SOLVE Charity was registered on 1st October 2018 and is run purely by volunteers. They have four Trustees and we are aiming to present a holistic approach to mental health problems.

(MORE : TREES)

We are very excited to share that we are committing to donating £1 from each sale to THG More:Trees which means for each sale a tree will be planted on your behalf. A simple way to plant trees for our planet. Climate change is harming our planet, but if we all make a small change, we can make a big impact.

(more:trees) enables you to plant trees, so you can help sequester carbon dioxide in the future. Sometimes it’s the little things that count. Read more about it here! moretrees.eco

TEENS UNITE FIGHTING CANCER

Teens Unite is a charity dedicated to bringing young people who have been diagnosed with cancer, together. By organising workshops, activities and residential stays, those impacted by a diagnosis can meet others their age in a similar situation to make new friends, share experiences, restore their confidence and self-esteem, learn new skills and live a life outside of cancer.

Coco and Ginger were privileged to support Teens Unite’s recent ‘Discover You’ event; a day dedicated to motivating young people diagnosed with cancer to still achieve their goals and aspirations in life. Coco and Ginger supplied 60 tin candles with inspirational words associated to them including gratitude, clarity, comfort and joy, inspiration, bliss and wanderlust, which brought a touch more positivity and encouragement to the day.

If you would like to support Teens Unite, visit www.teensunite.org for more information, email info@teensunite.org or call 01992 440091.
